The Amazing Mermaid Diet
Last night Miss E and I discussed mermaids. I don't know how the subject arose. I don't know why little girls are fascinated by these creatures. I can understand dads having a mermaid fixation. (I don't. I didn't raise the topic, E did. Shut up!)
Me: So what do mermaids eat, Miss E?
Miss E: Seaweed... and concrete.
I thought they ate seamen. Hm.
P-man out.
Labels: mermaids, vital bodily fluids

Well if you didn't have a fixation before, I bet you do now...
Seamen. Thanks for that. I am now the freaky guy in the wireless coffee shop who suddenly laughs out loud and uncontrollably.

Oh, and are you aware of the annual mermaid parade at Coney Island? I have a feeling that lovely pic came from that.
I am barely aware of Coney Island (was it in the Warriors?) but I think that's where the stolen pic is from.
My late wifes grandfather was a fisherman on the coast of Maine and he said about mermaids....
Not enough woman to love and not enough fish to eat
