Desk Set

Wo Family Headquarters... 1 pm ish. The toddler is away and infant is sleeping. The nap before us may be 45-100 minutes in length. Here is my to do list.

Groceries to unload from bags in the hall (2% frozen, 25% produce, 5% meat & cheese items, rest cans, crackers, bread, etc.)
Turkey Roast to prepare for dinner
Yam and Squash to prepare for dinner
Toddler dinner
Pee
Infant lunch
Dishwasher to unload
Grandmother to call
Housecleaning (optional/perpetual)
2nd cup of coffee for the day to be prepared
My lunch -- reheat fajita

In what order do I do these things? Alright you efficiency experts out there tell the librarian how to do it. I will provide my actual work pattern tomorrow.

Bonus question: What colour socks am I wearing?

I'd go with the cup of coffee first.

As for the socks, I'd be barefoot.

Mmmmm, my suggestion would be to pause long enough to blog the experience before peeing to make room for the cofee. The fajita can be reheated while you are peeing thus allowing you to boast of your multitasking abilities.

Uh...housekeeping questions? Let me go ask Joe.

The socks I can answer...something dark, especially if you don't get around to actually doing any cleaning. Then you won't notice it.

Frozen stuff, vegetables, meat items first, while coffee heats and fajita re-heats. Pee, wash hands thoroughly after article in paper earlier in the weeks about germs, eat fajita and drink coffee. Hit bathroom again after coffee (because it does that, you know). Then accomplish the storage of the rest of groceries pausing to look at sleeping infant and wondering why they can't look like beautiful beings like that all the f-ing time? Inload dishes (there's stuff in there to make dinner with) and begin to prepare dinner as fast as possible before infant awakes and Spencer Tracey arrives home. Use call to Grandma as distraction for infant when it awakes.

Socks: dark, for reasons already provided.

Do I win anything?

Wahlll, I know that you ahh a bathchalor (I'm trying to do a KH accent) because I see you've got one brown sock and one blue sock.

Can we be friends?
