My daughter is such an emerging North American. Instead of saying either couch or chesterfield she stubbornly insists on calling it the coucherfield. Cute, huh?

Huh. When I was a kid, it was a chesterfield. As an adult, it' a couch. Wonder when I made the switch?

I always thought Tim Couch should hook up with Lindsey Davenport. They could have a girl and name her Sofa.
